Job description
At Doymus Software e Ingeniería, a company specialized in software and hardware certification processes, we are looking for a Software Verification Technician who will participate in cutting-edge projects in the aerospace or railway market and in collaboration with the main companies in the sector internationally.
Objective
Software verification according to the aerospace standard DO-178C or railway standard CENELEC EN 50128. The verification includes software unit tests based on requirements with structural code coverage. The objective is the verification of the software requirements and source code written in C/C++.
Tests are performed on the host, simulator, or target, using a test automation tool certified by TÜV.
Activities
- Understanding software requirements
- Creation and/or use of test cases associated with low-level software requirements
- Definition and execution of test cases in the testing tool
- Error detection and generation of problem reports
- Traceability of test cases to software requirements
- Generation of certification evidence, including test reports
Tools
- Requirements management (e.g. Doors, Visure)
- UML Design (e.g. IBM Rhapsody)
- Static code analysis (e.g. CodeSonar)
- Source code testing (e.g. VectorCAST)
- Defect management (e.g. Jira)
Profile
- Required: At least 1 year experience in software testing.
- Required: Knowledge of C language at the level of source code comprehension
- Desirable: Knowledge of C++ language
- Desirable: Knowledge of DO-178C or CENELEC EN 50128 standards
- Minimum English level: B2
- Interest in detecting weaknesses in requirements and source code
Doymus offers you

- Training in DO-178C aerospace or CENELEC railway standards
- Training in requirements engineering for DO-178C and CENELEC
- Training in MISRA-C and VectorCAST
These courses would be taught in a period of less than 6 months.
