Job description
At Doymus Software e Ingeniería, a company specialized in software and hardware certification processes, we are looking for a Hardware Verification Engineer to participate in cutting-edge projects in the aerospace and railway market in collaboration with leading companies in the sector internationally.
Objective
Hardware verification (including FPGAs) in accordance with aerospace standard DO-254 and AMC 20-152A. Verification includes tasks of plan definition, reviews, analysis, testing and simulation.
Activities
- Elaboration and verification of hardware requirements
- Definition, execution and verification of test cases associated with hardware requirements
- VHDL code verification, through functional simulation, static timing analysis and code coverage
- Error detection and generation of problem reports
- Traceability of test cases to hardware requirements
- Generation of certification evidence
Tools
- Requirements management (e.g. Doors)
- Defect management (e.g. Jira)
- Oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
- Test benches
- VHDL code verification tool (e.g. ModelSim)
Profile
- Required: Knowledge of analog and digital hardware, and FPGAs
- Required: Knowledge of VHDL language
- Desirable: Knowledge in regulation systems and power electronics
- Desirable knowledge of DO-254 and AMC 20-152A regulations
- Minimum English level: B1
- Interest in becoming an expert in mission-critical hardware verification

These courses would be taught in a period of less than 6 months.
